Antonio "Tony" Grano (b. November 11, 1980, in Hartford, Connecticut) is an American heavyweight boxer. He was the US amateur heavyweight (201 lbs limit) champion in 2005.
2005
Grano, originally from Connecticut, now fights out of New York. Weighing 220 pounds, Italian-American "TNT" Grano made his debut in 2005 and has beaten 12 opponents so far. Against journeyman Rodney Ray (record 3-3), Grano could only draw. In 2008, he was upset by little-known 13-1 Mark Brown. In 2009, he rebounded with a KO over previously undefeated (18-0) amateur star Travis Kauffman. However, this win was disputed.
